Dates of Upcoming Meetings and Materials Deadline
Customarily, the UAPC meets the third Thursday of the month at 3:30-5pm in 350 Bascom Hall.
The agenda is set based on materials that are recieved by the Office of the Provost at least two weeks
before the meeting date. Proposals should be sent from the dean's office with a supporting cover memo
from the dean: that correspondence signifies that the required governance reviews have been completed
at the program and school/college level and that the dean accepts any budgetary implications of the proposal.
Materials recieved by the deadline may be included on the agenda if all materials
are in order and if there is still room on the agenda for additional items.
However, proposals should be submitted well in advance of the deadline to allow time
for review to make sure all aspects of the proposal are in order and complete.

Academic Planning Overview
Some proposals require Graduate Faculty Executive Committee approval. GFEC meets at 1:30-3:30 on the following dates: Oct 9, 2009; Nov 13, 2009; Dec 11, 2009; Feb 12, 2010; Mar 12, 2010; Apr 30, 2010; Apr 30, 2010.
